West Ham have sold defender Sam Byram to Premier League new-boys Norwich City for £750,000.
The 25-year-old, who spent last season on-loan at Championship side Nottingham Forest, signed a four-year deal and is their fourth summer signing.
“I had a nasty injury last year and it was nice to finish the season with a couple of games,” he said. “This feels like a new chapter, a fresh start.”
Byram joined West Ham in January 2016 from Leeds United after snubbing Everton.
He arrived with a big reputation but struggled to establish himself at London Stadium and featured just 36 times for the Irons.
