Opposition View: Leicester hoping to keep up pressure on top 2

With Leicester flying high in the Premier League this season, their aim against West Ham is to tighten the gap between them and Man United, but also to make sure that the Hammers don’t catch them up! So this month we catch up with Leicester City supporter David Bull.

Who do you consider to be the best player at West Ham?

David Bull: Jesse Lingard has been looking very lively since he came on loan. A player with a point to prove.

What do you think West Ham’s strengths and weaknesses are?

DB: West Ham have a few strengths which are good organisation, a bit of steel in the midfield, good options in attack with Bowen and Benrahma on the bench. Weaknesses are hard to say. Sometimes it does look a bit open at times and vulnerable to counterattack like the Leeds game.

How do you think your boys will get on for the rest of this season?

DB: Leicester won’t drop away like they did at the end of last season. They are finding ways of picking up points even when they are behind in games and even with first choice players injured.

What player should opposing teams watch out for?

DB: Aside from Jamie Vardy, Iheanacho has hit goal scoring form. Long may it continue!

How much of a miss is Harvey Barnes going to be for your team David?

DB: Yes, we miss Harvey Barnes, but other players are stepping up to the plate.

To the outside world you have amazing owners – just how great are they?

DB: Our owners have been brilliant. Great rapport with the fans, good support for the managers without being over-obtrusive.

But David, are you worried a big club might poach Brendan Rodgers?

DB: After the experience of Liverpool, Brendan Rodgers will be very wary of moving to a ‘top club’. He is fine where he is.

You must, however, be pleased with how your season has gone so far?

DB: Delighted with our season so far, especially our away form. We have had bad luck with injuries but look at the table.

Would you rather win the FA Cup or secure a top four place?

DB: Can I be greedy and say both? It is possible for us to do both.

What are your score predictions for your game against West Ham?

DB: 2-2
