Opposition View: ‘I’ve got a funny feeling we will get to a final, but unfortunately lose’

We catch up with Spurs supporter Dylan Bell ahead of the mid-week fixture

There’s an important mid-week fixture to turn our attentions to this week. We catch up with Spurs supporter Dylan Bell, who is sitting on the fence for the result!

How’s your transfer window been so far?

Six players so far. Really happy with the window, but I think it’s vital we bring in another centre-back, who has the quality to play in the Champions League.

Do you think it’s vital that Spurs win a trophy this season?

Absolutely, 14 years is far too long for a club of our stature. We’ve been very close too many times and hopefully we can do that this season!

Who is a new player that opposing teams should look out for?

Cristian Romero and Yves Bissouma. Both possess real quality on the ball, and are both aggressive in winning it back. Feel like they will be key this season in the league and Champions League.

What will you class as a success for you this season?

Top four finish and a trophy, that isn’t the Carabao Cup. Almost all Spurs fans would be happy with that and a lot of people will be shocked that we have won a trophy.

Are you surprised that spurs have kept Harry Kane as long as you have?

No, in a way. Our owner is stubborn and was never going to sell him, and his passion for the club is clear to see. He only wants the best for us, and the relationship he has with Son is unbelievable. If Son left so would’ve Kane but to have kept both of them is a result.

How do you reckon your team will get on this season?

I’m hopeful so I’m going for third place and just missing out on a trophy. Got a funny feeling we will get to a final, but unfortunately lose.

What are your thoughts on the season being postponed before Christmas for the World Cup to take place?

It will be interesting and I believe it will benefit national teams as the players won’t be coming into the tournament off the back of a long season. It will be good for some players to get some rest though if their nation goes out early. I think it doesn’t benefit the fans though, as summer World Cups just can’t be beaten.

What’s your score prediction for your game against West Ham?
