What’s going on at Stamford Bridge at the moment?

Honestly, I have no idea. Ever since we got rid of Tuchel, we have not been performing. It’s almost like the players don’t know how to play for the club. We know we aren’t going to win every game and that’s OK. But as fans we want to see them at least put a shift in and try to win the game. At the moment we are just so far off form.

Do you think Pochettino will be able to turn things around?

No. He’s had more than enough time here at the club to prove himself but he has failed. If the team isn’t working, he sticks with the same starting 11 for the following week. It’s painful. Yes he’s got us to a final and a semi final but we aren’t going to get any silverware. He has to go.

How devastated were you to lose the League Cup final?

I’m still not over it. To lose in extra time 1-0 is painful and something I don’t want to witness again. Of course it’s great we made the final but we should’ve won that and not conceded in extra time. We should’ve tried to drag it out to penalties and then maybe it would’ve been a different story.

One of the big successes for Chelsea this season has been the emergence of Cole Palmer; How brilliant is he?

He’s amazing and I’m not sure he will be with us next season, which is painful to say, but it’s quite obvious that he is too good for us. Maybe next season if we start to build a team around him, then we have more of a chance of keeping him but at the moment I don’t see him being with us next season.

What would be a successful season for Chelsea?

Probably getting rid of Pochettino. Other than that I think top 10. I can’t believe how much we have fallen off that a success for us would be getting in the top 10. It’s embarrassing. I just hope we don’t fall lower than 10th otherwise that’s shocking.

So you really think Pochettino will go at the end of the season?

He has to go. I don’t understand how he kept his job after losing the final. We aren’t going to get European football this season again so I’m not sure why we would keep him when he hasn’t performed at all.
