How is your season going at Selhurst Park?
We’re not doing great to be honest. We are nowhere near where we want to be as a club. I’m hoping that it was just a rocky start to the season and we can now get going halfway through the season to climb the table.
Do you think Palace will be able to keep hold of Marc Guehi this January transfer?
I hope so. He’s been a great asset to the club and is one of our best players. I’m hearing rumours that Chelsea have their eye on him. I think they had their chance but they lost him in 2021 so hands off.
Are there any signings you want to see Palace sign in the January transfer window?
I’m hearing that Trevoh Chalobah could be recalled back to Chelsea from his loan with us. So if we’re potentially at risk of losing one of our best players and another centre back, I don’t think we have much choice but to get a few more centre backs lined up to come in.
What are your thoughts on Oliver Glasner as Palace boss?
He’s a great manager. He won the Europa League with Frankfurt and I was over the moon with the appointment of him. I think some of the players aren’t performing as well as they should so part of it is down to the players but I also see that the manager should be hooking them if they aren’t performing to a high enough standard.
Where do you think Palace will finish this season?
Hoping we pick up the points to get us away from the bottom half of the table for a comfortable mid-table finish.
What is classed as a successful season for Palace?
A decent FA Cup run and a mid table finish will do it for us. Probably being able to keep hold of Marc Guehi will also be classed as a successful season at this rate.
Has Palace got a new eagle as Kayla sadly passed away in 2020?
We actually do. The new eagle is called Phoenix who is only 9 months old so is still learning to fly and being trained so isn’t yet able to attend matchdays. But once Phoenix is trained I’m pretty sure that’s when we will get our mojo back- it’s what we’ve been missing.
