As we navigate the business end of this rollercoaster 2025/26 season, the mood around the London Stadium is a complex cocktail of high-stakes anxiety and a renewed, gritty sense of hope. For many of us, the recent tifo display for Luděk Mikloško was a necessary reminder of why we do this. Amidst the tension of a relegation scrap and frustrations with ownership, the outpouring of love for Ludo proved that the soul of this club remains intact.
Nuno’s Defensive Blueprint Brings New Hope
On the pitch, that spirit is finally being matched by results. After a dismal start to the year, Nuno has seemingly found a defensive blueprint that works. The partnership between Mavropanos and January arrival Axel Disasi, coupled with Mads Hermansen’s composed return to the starting XI, has provided the backline stability we’ve craved. While discipline remains a concern with recent red cards, the “must-win” victory over Burnley and a resilient draw against Manchester United have dragged us back into striking distance of safety.
West Ham Women Show Collective Grit
Our Women’s side has mirrored this defiance, climbing out of the drop zone with a breathtaking comeback against Brighton that showcased a newfound collective grit.
Standing Together for the Final Sprint
As we look ahead to a massive FA Cup tie against Brentford and the final sprint against Spurs, Leeds and Forest, the message is clear: it isn’t over. Whether it’s John Ratomski’s tireless work with Irons Supporting Foodbanks or the fans’ vocal support for a fading legend, we are at our best when we stand together. We’ve found our momentum; now we just have to keep it.
